Healing: Part 3

Starlight

"Tro, what do you mean who are we?"

"I mean I have no clue who either of you are."

"Do you know anything or anyone?"

"The only person I remember is Wufei.....he's my lover. Why isn't he here?"

"He will be shortly, but let me clear some stuff up. First off,
do you know who you are?"

"Yes, I'm Trowa Barton my lover is Wufei Chang and I think I
was a pilot."

"Okay, you're right so far. Yes, you are a pilot of a Gundam, which
is a mech, called Heavyarms. I'm Duo Maxwell and this is Heero Yuy;
we are your friends and are staying here with you until Wufei comes
back. He went to get some rest so he wouldn't also end up in the hospital.
You were injured in battle and were in a coma that luckily didn't last
very long. You are in the hospital, which I'm guessing you figured
out by now. There's also one other person at the safehouse that
will be here with Wufei; his name is Quatre Winner. He's a pretty
nice guy, but gets overly concerned for all of us. You work in a circus
undercover sometimes, but usually you are with Wufei. Sorry if this
is a bit much."

"No, thanks for filling me in. I vaguely remember everyone's names,
but I can't remember a lot of details."

At that point Dr. Cain walked in to check on Trowa.

"Hello Mr. Davis, how are you doing?"

"Davis?"

"Yes, that is what you were signed in under. That's your name right?"

Trowa looked over at Heero and Duo in confusion. They were telling him
to just go along and that they would explain later.

"Um, yes, I'm sorry. I'm having some memory problems."

"Memory problems? Do you remember a lot or anything at all?"

"I do remember some stuff and people, but it's all very vague. The
only person I really remember is my lover."

"Ah, Mr. Jones. I'm sure he'll be back here soon. Well, you just might
have a slight case of amnesia that shouldn't last too long. We still
have to keep a watch on you considering you did suffer a concussion.
I just need to check on your ribs."

Dr. Cain gently checked Trowa's ribs and changed the bandages.

"You've only been in here for a few days, but you seem to be healing
very well. It's still going to be a couple of weeks before you are totally
recovered so no heavy activities. If you feel any better tomorrow and
look better, I just might let you go early. For now we'll transfer you to
a room. Would you prefer a private room or sharing?"

"He would like a private room," broke in Quatre as he rushed in with
Wufei right behind him.

"Who are you?"

"I'm the person who will be paying his medical bills. I have the money
so that shouldn't be an issue."

"Okay, a private room it is. We'll go get you one ready and I will be
back to transfer you."

Dr. Cain left to go talk to the attendants on the 5th floor to get the
room ready for his new patient.

"Please explain why I was being called Mr. Davis and they were
calling Wufei Mr. Jones?"

"Okay, Wufei checked you two in under your fake names so you
wouldn't be discovered by Oz."

"What's the matter with Tro?" Wufei asked.

Duo sighed and started fidgeting as he glanced over at Heero.

"Do you want me to tell him or you Heero?"

"You're his best friend, you tell him."

"You see Wufei, it's like this: Trowa has slight amnesia, but the
only person he remembers is you, his lover. So, we have to all
work together to help get his full memory back. The doctor said
it shouldn't last too long. He also said that if Trowa keeps on progressing
well he might get discharged tomorrow."

"Well, thank you once again Duo. Tro, do you remember anything about
our relationship?"

"I remember almost everything, including the promise that we made to
each other. Sorry if I gave you a scare back there. I won't die on you,
not right now. We have to survive this war."

Wufei smiled at his angel and leaned down and kissed him.
All their love for each other was sealed into that one kiss, their
passion for each other still

burning as if nothing had ever happened. Wufei pulled back and
just looked into Trowa's eyes and saw the love shining in his eyes.

"I love you angel," he said soft enough for Trowa to hear.

"And I love you dragon," he replied back.

Duo clapped his hands and starting hooting at them. He was smiling
happily at his two friends, happy that they were once again reunited.

Hope this hasn't gone downhill.....I'm really trying

not to rush it and I still don't know how many parts

this is gonna have! C&C anyone???
