Just why is Dr. Layon so intent on seeking revenge against Dr. Steve Toros?
Hey, what is he doing testing his anti-gravity device on the poor Tiger's Team? Won't
those guys ever catch a break!?!Dr. Layon challenges Dr. Toros again, but this time
his secret weapon seems infallible. He has captured Leena so that she is not injured
in the battle. During her capture Leena learns the reason for Dr. Layon's resentment.
Seems quite some time ago he was in love with Leena's mother. He wanted to send her
a love letter but didn't know how to go about it. That's when he approached Dr. Toros
to write the letter for him, but Dr. Toros signed his name to it instead of Dr. Layons.
(If you want something done right, do it yourself!!)
Meanwhile, Dr. Toros was
explaining to the others what actually happened. He didn't have time to do the letter
and asked Oscar (Jamie's father) to do it. It was actually Oscar who signed the
letter incorrectly. (Ya ever wonder why they just don't spit it out?!? Well then
we wouldn't have all these good episodes...would we??)
The battle that ensues
seems merciless. The Whale King can hold an enormous amount of zoids, and not only
that, but it's attacking the hover cargo. When Dr. Layon initiates that anti-gravity
mechanism, it's time for the Liger Zero to go into action. With the amazing strength
of the Zero Schneider conversion, Bit and his Liger are able to rip right
through the threatening Whale King. Once again, Dr. Layon escapes in defeat. Think
he'll be back???? You'll find out!!!
