Naomi is fighting in an unsanctioned battle with the Backdraft Group. Initially,
it appears that she has won until Major Polta (using unregulated methods) gains
the upper hand. Who should come to her rescue just as her zoid is about to be pounced?!?
None other than Leon Toros (drool) in his Red Blade Liger! The Backdraft Team is defeated.
Leon and Naomi have decided to team up and challenge the Blitz Team to a battle. The
battle mode is "0982" which means each team will fight with a stipulated number of zoids.
In addition, this battle will have no restrictions on arsenals. It is determined that
Bit with his Liger Zero and Leena with her Gunsniper will battle Naomi and Leon.
When
the battle commences, Harry wants to join in the fight, but he is easily removed from
the battle grounds. It's Leena vs Naomi and Bit vs Leon. The reason for the battle...
Leon is anxious to learn if his rival (Bit) is worthy. The two Ligers are fiercely
battling it out when Leon takes control. While Bit is pinned, Leon reminisces of his
travels since he left the Blitz Team. He explained how he fought many battles during
his travels and suffered many losses. Leon felt he needed such obstacles to reach
his full potential as a warrior. He realized he wasn't half the warrior he thought.
Then one day he found himself in the Legendary Valley travelled by the greatest Zoid
warriors of the past. That's where he found his Red Blade Liger. Working together they
learned it takes more than guts alone to win a battle. Not entirely in agreement,
Bit breaks free from the Blade Liger's grasp.
Meanwhile, Naomi has been laying low
giving Leena the impression that she is out of ammunition. Dropping her guard, Leena
is ambushed. Command System Freeze! Now it's just Leon and Bit. Dr. Toros
wants Bit to convert to the Schneider, but Bit informs him Leon has no extra
arsenals. Dr. Toros knows that the Red Blade Liger is very rare with only a handful
of units in existance. With Bit's persistence, the Liger Zero has given the Blade
Liger some minimal damage.
Suddenly, their battle is interrupted by Major Polta
of the Backdraft Team seeking revenge. Working together Leon and Bit overpower
their opponents even though they are grossly outnumbered. Again, the bad guys
are defeated (will they ever learn?).
The judge was damaged so the battle was
never completed. Leon informs his father he is not ready to come back. So Naomi and
Leon leave to face another day, but not before Naomi does a little flirting with
Brad. Will we see Leon again??? Just wait and see!!!
