Dr. Toros has determined that the finish line location is L155D46, however, there is another team a few steps ahead of them. Bit is instructed to convert his liger from the Schneider to the Panzer armor in preparation. The Hover Cargo approaches the finish only to find Vega and the Berserk Fury waiting for them. Vega believes the Berserk Fury wanted to challenge the Liger Zero to determine which is the superior Ultimate X. The backdraft group, with Sarah in charge, watch from within their hovering Whale king as the battle begins.

Brad charges with his Shadowfox, but the Berserk Fury is capable of remembering the moves of any opponent he's fought against before. Quickly the Shadowfox is overpowered. Bit fires Liger's highbred cannon, but Vega easily protects himself with the Fury's shield. Now Vega advances on Bit taking advantage of the Panzer's poor maneuverability. The Panzer begins to overheat. Just as the Fury sets up to fire his charge particle cannon eminent danger approaches from overhead. A judge satellite is crashing towards earth which would cause level 9 destruction over an extensive area. The Fury quickly fires his particle cannon at the satellite vaporizing it, but, unfortunately, some of the pieces did not burn up. It's 54 seconds until crash time!! Working with his Liger, Bit fires mega bombs and completely disintegrates the remaining pieces. Whew!

Vega wants to continue their battle and turns his attention back to the Panzer which is seriously overheating. Dr. Toros tells Bit to jettison the Panzer's armor leaving the Liger vulnerable. The Fury prepares to attack when it is hit with unexpected gunfire. It's Brad! He tells Bit to re-armor with the basic zero armor while he holds off the Fury. The Fox charges, but the Berserk Fury tosses it around like a rag doll. It doesn't take long before the Shadowfox goes down. Command System Freeze. Now Vega is determined to bring down the whole Blitz team and aims his charged particle cannon at the hover cargo and fires.

The hover cargo's shield holds up, and through the clouds of smoke and debris the Liger charges out catching the Fury off-guard with a damaging "strike laser claw". The two ultimate X's battle fiercely! With their organoid system's they predict their opponents next move. Their battle leads them to an abandoned ultrasaurus wreck. When a diving attack from the Liger renders Vega unconscience, the Berserk Fury continues to battle. The Backdraft group's monitors show the Fury's combat system is out of control. The fury begins firing his charged particle cannon randomly bringing down the hovering Whale King and the dark judge.

In a desparate move, the Liger charges at the Fury. They face-off in a grueling test of strength sending a blinding light to the skys above. Bit and his Liger bring down the Fury in a clump of metal and flames. It's over. The Backdraft group is arrested.

Bit approaches Vega who was able to escape. They exchange well wishes and a promise to meet in battle again. It's then that the Zoids Battle Commissioner informs Bit that he has won the Royal Cup. You see, the highest burg of the abandoned ultrasaurus wreck was the finish line. He is instructed to proceed to the cockpit.

As his fellow warriors watch in appreciation, Bit is praised. Liberty, Courage, and a sense of justice. Only a warrior who possesses such qualities deserves the royal cup. Bit and his teammates possess these qualities and in the end they prevail. Just what adventure awaits around the corner. (I hope we find out one day!)
