Now that's dangerous!" I mean, think about it. If it wasn't so well endowed, it could never be the ultimate zombie now could it? Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly "We were born together, but...we will live...and die separately. We can't be together forever, but with this we can become one so it's alright. Kill me!" ~Mayu Crimson Butterfly is awesome! I just loved the story and there are lots of moments when I almost took a crap in my pants playing the game. Play the game in a dark room with surround sound to get the full experience! Anyway, this is from the first normal ending and it pretty much tells us the biggest ingredient of the plot. It's one of the best scenes in the series. Anyone who's ever played the game will remember that scene. Final Fantasy 8 "I dreamt I was a moron!" ~Squall Leonheart He was referring to the dream he had when he dreamt for the first time that he was running around as Laguna. Pretty damn funny in my opinion since Zell and Selphie also had the same dream and they both think that Laguna is sooo cool. Final Fantasy 9 "Even a fly lives for a day" ~Steiner Albert Steiner is a complete doofus and token all brawn and no brain character, but this line of his does go well with this particular title though. The main characters (main bad guy as well) are all looking for the meanings of their lives and a way and clawing to hold on to that precious life they lead or want to lead. Final Fantasy 10 "Summoners challenge the bringer of death, Sin, and die doing so. Guardians give their lives to protect their summoner. The fayth are the souls of the dead. Even the maesters of Yevon are unsent. Spira is full of death... only Sin is reborn, and then only to bring more death. It is a cycle of death, spiraling endlessly." ~Auron Spira...a world of death. "Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow!" ~Auron That is what our intrepid band of adventurers are trying to do in FFX-trying to change the destiny that has been handed down to them by Yu Yevon the Immortal. Yuna and the others through out the game sought out to permanently end the punishment of Yu Yevon and the spiral of destruction he bestowed upon the people of Spira. "The people and friends that we have lost or the dreams that have faded...never forget them." ~Yuna This was part of Yuna's speech after defeating Sin and bringing about the Eternal Calm and loosing Auron and Tidus in the process. Her speech consists of reaching out the people of Spira to help each other build Spira's future while still remembering the sacrifices. Final Fantasy 10-2 "I was wrong. She doesn't get dragged into trouble..." ~Paine "...She jumps in head first!" ~Rikku Between X and X-2, Yuna has changed quite a bit – from a somewhat shy girl with the weight of the world on her shoulders to an outgoing somewhat mischevious girl. You actually meet Ansem as a hooded man saying those lines! He sought to learn more about the heartless and the obsessions knowing more about the "heartless" led to his downfall. The Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen "Alas poor Nupraptor - I knew him well! Well, not really." ~Kain It cracks me up every time! Kain will say this every time you click on Nupraptor's skull. "When coincidence seems too convenient, I prefer to call it fate." ~Kain What is fate but mere coincedences that rules our lives? The Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver "Conscience? You dare speak to me of conscience? Only when you have felt the full gravity of choice may you dare speak to me of conscience!" ~Kain Ok, so LoK:SR is not related to anime in any way, shape or form. Now the question you might be asking is "what is it doing in a place called The Anime Playground?" Simple, I think that it's an awesome game with good storyline and Karma's really into any story related to vampires. That being said, I chose this quote because I believe that this best reflect Kain's motivation in doing what he did in SR. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 "History abhors a paradox." ~Kain Kain refers to himself and Raziel as they go through time trying to change the history of Nosgoth. Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake "Whoever wins, our battle does not end. The loser is free from the battlefield, but the winner must remain there and the survivor must live his life as a warrior until he dies." ~Big Boss It's a quote styled in the same manner as the one that Big Boss' mentor, the Boss told him in the past. Metal Gear Solid "Snake, we are not tools of the government or anyone else's. Fighting was the only thing...the only thing that I was good at, but at least I fought for what I believed in!" ~Grey Fox Damn right! We are not tools to be used for someone else's gain, we are free to make our own choices in our lives and no one has the right to take that away from us! The most important thing is to choose life then live!" ~Naomi One of the sub-plots of MGS, the point that Naomi is trying to make here is that your genes can tell you what your potentials are, but that doesn't tell you exactly what you are going to be. That choice is always left to you. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty "We need to pass the torch and let our children read our messy and sad history by its own light...we still have the responsibility to leave what traces of life we can. Building the future and keeping the past alive are one and the same."~Solid Snake These words of Snake are deeply tied to the central theme of MGS2: SoL which is finding freedom from control of outside influences and having our own histories written for us instead of us writing down our own history. What were you in your past life?" ~The Colonel This is one of the random gibberish that the Colonel tells you when you reach Arsenal Gear. Creates one of those WTF?!? moments when you first hear it (sure did for me). Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater "Life's end...isn't beautiful? It's almost tragic. When life ends, it gives off a final lingering aroma. Light is but a farewell gift from the darkness to those on their way to die. I've been waiting, Snake, for a long time.
