The Bubblegum Crisis 2040 (BGC 2040) was introduced to Japan in 1998. The story of this Anime, goes something like this. There was a very huge earthquake, and an evil corporation called Genom creats some robots called boomers to completly destroy Tokyo. To save the city from destruction, four brave women set out to stop the powerful Genom. These women are armed with very powerful suits and are come to be called the Knight Sabers. They fight off the evil, in alliance to the AD Police, who are just kind of there. Eventually, this fighting causes a street war, and all hell brakes loose, but hte Knight Sabers are always there to stop any evil.
