Rin

First Appearance: Episode 35

The orphan girl that helped Sesshoumaru heal his wounds after a battle with InuYasha. Rin, when we first met her was unable to talk, since she witnessed the deaths of her whole family. She was also, often bullied by the townspeople but she never shed a single tear. Later on, her village was attacked by Kouga and his wolves, and Rin died. Sesshoumaru saved her using the Tenseiga, and even Jaken was surprised when his Lord Sesshoumaru would save a human. But Sesshoumaru claims that it was the sword that wanted to save Rin, not him. From that point on, Rin has followed Sesshoumaru around, and he seemed to be fine with having a girl following him. Jaken has also seemed to be Rin's baby-sitter, he follows her everywhere under the order of Sesshoumaru, but sometimes, Jaken can't help Rin when she's in a dangerous situation and thats when Sesshoumaru comes in and saves her. Rin has changed Sesshoumaru alot after following him, perhaps she can change the way Sesshoumaru thinks and deals with humans and maybe one day learn to accept them and even love them..
