The Story of InuYasha

High school girl Kagome lives in a thousand year old Japanese temple. One day she opened a seal on an old well on the temple grounds and was snatched by the demon inside the well, and transported to an ancient time of feudal Japan. Little does she know that Kikyo, the maiden priestess who held the powerful magical tailsman Shikon no Tama, imprisoned a legendary half-demon Inuyasha. The return of Kikyo's reincarnation awakened Inuyasha and he saved Kagome from the clutches of the demon that brought her over. However, the story has only just begun. One day, Kagome accidentally broke the Shikon no Tama to peices which were scattered through out the land, now Kagome, Inu-Yasha and their friends, Shippo, Sango, and Miroku are on a journey to collect all the shards of the Shikon no Tama before if falls into the wrong hands..
