Characters-Sesshoumaru

Sesshoumaru

First Episode Appearance: Episode 5

The elder brother of InuYasha, unlike InuYasha he is ruthless full blooded youkai(demon) that cares for nothing but killing others. He believes humans are lowly creatures and does not deserve to live, this is why he hates InuYasha since he's a hanyou. His main goal in the beginning is to obtain the Tetsusaiga, he wants the power to destory 100 youkais in one slash of the sword. He feels that being the hanyou that InuYasha is, he does not deserve this great power and is unworthy to wield the sword. Once, he joined forces with Naraku to try to get the Tetsusaiga, Sesshoumaru was double-crossed and now his goal is to destroy Naraku. Sesshoumaru has a little toad youkai naked Jaken to do his bidding. Sesshoumaru has the ability to transform into a giant dog, but he hasn't transformed into this form after his arm was sliced off by InuYasha in their first battle. Sesshoumaru's main attack would be the "Dokkasou" (Poison Flower Claw) but now he tends to use the Toukijin which was made from the teeth of Goshinki, one of Naraku's detachments. Goshinki's teeth has the ability to destroy the Tetsusaiga, so Sesshoumaru had its teeth converted into a sword in hopes to defeat his brother once and for all. However, just like InuYasha inherited a sword from his father, Sesshoumaru too inherited a sword called the Tenseiga, but unlike the Tetsusaiga, Tenseiga has the ability to save 100 lives. He never really used this sword, except the time he saved Rin when she was killed by Kouga's pack of wolves. After saving her life, Rin now follows Sesshoumaru around, which is very unual to see since Sesshoumaru despise humans, perhaps Rin is purifying Sesshoumaru's heart and he may not be as ruthless as he seemed to be...
