 It all starts out when Inuyasha(the guy on the right) and Kikyo manage to have a relationship with one another. It was all good when suddenly they betrayed each other!...or did they? Anyway, in the mean time Inuyasha is trying to steal the Shikkon Jewel so he can become a whole demon(Inuyasha is half-demon at this point). Kikyo however doesn't let him and uses an enchanted arrow to bind Inuyasha to a tree..then dies. We then are introduced to Kagome(on the left), who just happens to have to Shikkon Jewel inside her body! She is also the reincartnation of the priestess Kikyo. She finds a well in a shrine and is mysteriously pulled into it leaving her brother screaming for help. Kagome breaks free but finds herself in another world. She soon finds Inuyasha and wonders about him....their encounters after this are great,dangerous, and filled with new companions on the way.
