 Kagome is a high school girl, year nine, from the future (1996 Modern Japan) who travels to the fuedal age (Sengoku Jidai) via the well in her temple shrine house. There, shes found to be the reincarnation of the dead priestess, Kikyo. She falls in love *cough* with InuYasha, (didn't see that coming eh?) While shes away in the past, her grandpa makes up lame excuses to say why she wasn't at school... e.g rashes, coughing, arthiritis... Weapons: Shes a good archer, with excellant aim. At first, she doesn't know the first thing about bows, but shes got hidden talent lol;) Her arrows are similar to Kikyo's; they purify evil and have the power to kill evil. Also, for some reason, she has an ability to protect herself with a strange purple light. Kagome can control InuYasha and stop him doing things she doesn't like. Kaede, Kikyo's younger sister, put a rosary necklace around InuYasha's neck with magic that cannot be removed. Whenever Kagome says, "Sit!" or "Osuwari!", InuYasha is bashed into the ground but the magic that binds him. |
