John F and Milly Browning Pyatt
John F Pyatt was born c1816 in Illinois and died October 10, 1873, in Christian County, Illiois. He is said to be the son of Henry Pyatt and Rachel Ferrell. He married on March 11, 1837, in Fayette County, Illinois, Millie Browning. Some sources show the marriage to have occurred in Montgomery County, Illinois, of which I can find no record. However, on the same date in Fayette County, Illinois, 'John P Pratt' and 'Milly Browning' were married (book A page 11). The only Browning family living close to the Pyatts who are old enough to be Milly's parents appear to be Daniel and Permelia Browning though this is strictly an assumption which would need to be researched.

They appeared as follows on the 1850 census of Fayette County, Illinois:

- Pyatt, Cornelius age 12 born IL / m / att school
- Pyatt, Elizabeth age 9 born IL / f / att school
- Pyatt, Julia A age 7 born IL / f / att school
- Pyatt, May age 5 born IL / f / att school
- Pyatt, John H age 2 born IL / m
This family was enumerated #496/504 pg 372 on 9 Dec 1850 (ancestry image 72/194). Their neighbors were #492 William Cook, #493 Benjamin Kirk, #594 Robert Kirk, #494 James Harrison, #495 Elander Seton, #497 Daniel ?Tockard, #498 John Sims/Sears, #499 Michael Pope #500 Elizabeth Pope. At #222 was John's brother, Ebenezer E Pyatt. Other of John's family were enumerated in Montgomery County, Illinois.
I have been unable to locate John or family on the 1860 census. I find only Cornelius on the 1870 census even though I searched extensively at ancestry.com database using only first names with age and birthplace or first initial instead of entire name, etc. I looked for daughters under married names to no avail.
