A dynamic and growing, cultural initiative, the DECOURTENAY GALLERIES, presents and offers admirers and acquirers of the visual and ceramic arts, exclusive works of rich variety and quality from advancing European and American artists! The Decourtenay® Galleries promote and protect artistic endeavors on a regional, national, European and international scale. The former Director of Legal, Communications and Sales of Emergent Artist Promotions asbl, is President of Decourtenay Galleries Ltd., and also provides services as an agent to the artistic community, looking for exhibition opportunities for all artistic innovations, to help promote both artists and artisans of value without reference to age, race, sex or religion. The “Decourtenay® Galleries”, has close contacts with Espac-Art Galerie, run by Alfredo LONGO, in Mons, Belgium. The Decourtenay Galleries remain committed to a policy of free admission and the exhibits are open to the general public on defined weekdays and, of course, by appointment. Le GROUPE DECOURTENAY et nos EXPOSITIONS

Le GROUPE DECOURTENAY® consiste en 8 artistes internationaux venant de la Belgique (Georges Boulmant, Pol Lefèvre, Didier Maghe, Frédéric Thiry et Claude Geudevert), de la France (Danielle Martin-Troulay), des USA (Rebecca Gray Smith) et d'Israël (Kilav Harel). La saison 2002 présente des artistes du Borinage (Quaregnon), du Centre (Soignies et Morlanwelz), de Casteau, de Mons, d'Erquelines, de La Rochelle (France) et de Chicago (USA). Les Decourtenay Galleries ont présenté autres expositions avec un total de 17 artistes ( 10 femmes et 7 hommes). Parmi ces artistes on peut relever 4 nationalités (belge, autrichienne, israélienne et hongroise). Ces artistes nous arrivaient de la région bruxelloise, de Mons, de la Galilée en Israël, d’Enghien, Anderlues, Fleurus, Chimay et Jemappes. Etaient représentées les disciplines suivantes : peintures à l’huile, acryliques, pigments, images numérisées par ordinateur, collages, fusain, céramiques, aérographies, sculptures en marbre et polyester ainsi que créations par transparence.

--- Les Deourtenay Galleries sont fier d’annoncer que son conseil d’administration a décidé de sponsoriser un deuxiemeCONCOURS-COMPETITION pour le Prix des ambassadeurs/Ambassadors' Art Prize
en 2005. Il est destiné aux artistes nationaux et d’ailleurs. Le thème général et la compétition sera jugée par un jury composé d’artistes et de connaisseurs réputés pour leur intérêt dans la vie régionale, nationale et internationale. Une annonce officielle sera lancée plus tard cette année. ---

La “DECOURTENAY® GALLERIES” de Chatelet sera ouverte pour la visite et l'acquisition d'une riche variété de créations originales d’ artistes locaux ou internationaux, sponsorisés par Decourtenay Galleries Ltd. Grâce à une gamme de services comprenant des expositions d’artistes, la vente, le marketing, la promotion, la communication, les conseils, la consultance en brevets, marques, copyright, contrats et autres droits, pour tous les Supporters/adhérents et les langues officielles (l’anglais et le français, avec des compétences dans plusieurs autres (le néerlandais, l’allemand, etc., les DECOURTENAY Galleries sont unique. Le principal lieu d’exposition en beglique sera le “Decourtenay Galleries”, 3, rue des brasseurs, 6200 Chatelet, et nos artistes sont aussi representes par L' ESPAC-ART Galerry de Alfredo LONGO à Mons, Belgique. Les expositions sont accessibles au public, gratuitement,les jours définis par l’affichage et bien entendu sur rendez-vous (tél. au secrétariat au +32 (0) 486 52 66 28 ou par email : cgeudevert@yahoo.fr ou bien dcgalleries@sbcglobal.net , par tout artiste intéressé par une exposition ou par les amateurs ou tout supporter de la communauté culturelle.

MORE ABOUT THE GALLERY

Since 2001, The Decourtenay Galleries has presented numerous artists, and, in just one year, exhibitions of 17 artists (ten women and seven men)of four nationalities (Belgian, Austrian, Israeli and Hungarian) from Brussels, Mons, Israel, Enghien, Anderlues, Fleurus, Chimay and Jemappes. Represented were oil paintings, acrylics, pigments, computer aided images, collages, charcoal, ceramics, aero graphics, polyester and marble sculpture and transparencies. The Decourtenay Galleries provides not only a locale and opportunities for contact and exchange, but also value added services including sales, marketing, promotion, advice, negotiation, consulting in copyright, patent, trademark, contracts and other rights in innovation, for all its Supporters.

--- The Decourtenay Galleries also announces its sponsorship of a second contest in 2005 after its highly acclaimed 2003 prize which targeted both a national and international audience and was judged by a jury of noted artists and experts in the local, national and international realm. ---
