Didier MAGHE, Kilav HAREL, Danielle MARTIN-TROULAY and Frédéric THIRY are featured on other pages of our website. THE LAST THREE SEASONS A number of other artists also presented their unique talents in the last 3 years! - In Mons, LOLA, intridged with her emotional portraits and massive acrylic renditions. Samuel LEVI attracted the Minister of State as well as the President of the Wallon Region to his reception, where his pastel installation both amazed and bewondered all lookers on. Philippe DRUMEL, the van Gogh Montois, brought his special interpretation of life in the Borniage to the world. Joelle VASSOGNE, in her tattered remembrance, explored collage as has not been seen with such a methodolgy in the past century. In honor of World's Women's Day 14 IRANIAN WOMEN, unveiled for the first time in Mons, their special charm found only in the orient.
Lysiane Ketsman's vibrant colours and emotional renditions enchanted and sometimes, distressed, the admiring audience. Peter Logan's work in ball-point pen was unique in its perspective and dimensionality. EAP welcomed to Mons its first American artist, Rebecca Smith, for her visit to the region, and an opening in Detroit, Michigan, USA as well. At her opening, Rebecca was greeted by the EU representatives of the State of Illinois in Belgium in 2004. Didier Maghe’s opening was graced by the presence of the ambassador of Indonesia and his delightful wife who presented their accolades to this colorful and talented expressionist. Without a doubt, the productions of George Boulmant and the cherished talent following in the steps of the Dutch grand masters, Danielle Martin-Troulay, brought both the sunshine and the visitors from abroad, to appreciate Mons and its special culture. Claude Geudevert invited admirers to the incandescence of fire and the tranquility of water, and the South Africa embassy graced us with the presence of its representatives at the Geudevert exhibit. His most recent exhibition in Soignies featured MALTA, and the vibrant colors of both ship and sea! And Mr. Geudevert represented the city of Pontiac as Solo Artist at the request of the Mayor of the City for Art and Humanities Month in October 2004.
