When I was in art school, some
300 moons ago or so, I created
a leather-bound
book of poems
hand-lettered and silkscreened
with complementary design elements.
My silkscreen teacher
suggested
that I stick to writing.
My writing teacher thought the art
was wonderful and the writing,
so-so.
Today, I see my writing, design
and photography together
as a fluid expression
of creative thought...of who I am.
