Are DeLoreans reliable cars?

For the most part, Yes!  However, like any other 20 year old car, they are beginning to show wear from age. Usually only minor things like radiators and cables need to be replaced, but beware, DeLoreans are prone to many serious problems if not properly taken care of. An example would be electrical problems that are showing up more frequently these days. Just be sure to check the car over very carefully before you throw down the cash if you have the intent of buying.  Make sure the windows, locks, lights, mirrors, etc. are all in perfect-working order.
