1998
December 12, 1998: The band have been very busy of late, playing gigs all around Dublin, in the Temple Bar Music Centre, The Mean Fiddler, & the Tivoli Theatre. The Tivoli gig ended in chaos with fans dancing on stage and Robert playing drums during an impromptu version of "Sweet Caroline"!

October 8, 1998: The band played a hugely successful gig in The Bloody Stream pub in Howth, Co. Dublin last night, the 7th of October. They did 15 songs, 2 covers (Get Back and a rock version of Chris Isaaks' Wicked Game) and they played like gods. There was a huge crowd there, and they were all totally into the music. The best moment of all was after the last song "One Life To Live"; the cheering was so loud, there was no way they were packing up without playing another few songs! Afterwards Robert Crosbie said "For only our second gig it was unbelievable. Everyone loved it, asking when we were playing again, taking photographs and everything! It was a great, great feeling".

September 7, 1998: The band are playing their debut gig in The Bloody Stream pub in Howth, Co. Dublin on the 17th of September. They have been rehearsing nearly every night in preparation and finally have a set of about 14 songs, plus they plan to play two cover songs. They are very excited about the gig as it's a "home crowd" that they're playing to, as the Bloody Stream is their regular drinking haunt. They expect a packed house, so get there early! They should be on at about 10pm.

August 26, 1998: Robert has written a new song, "Nobody Knows". He says it is based on a chord sequence he wrote a while ago, but he has written a new melody line, and added a new middle 8. The band are playing again tonight, possibly to concentrate on newer songs. Regarding last night's session, Robert set up his camcorder to shoot a little video of the band playing! They set up facing the camera and ran through "Aeroplanes" and "Gone Away Tonight". Clips may become availble on this site in the future.

August 25, 1998: Tonight the band play their first session for 3 weeks, following Johnny's return from holiday. They plan to play their entire set and also rehearse a few new songs like "Blue Eyes", which Mark and Robert arranged last week when Johnny was away.
