Gerriton is a thriving place, surrounded by fields and woodlands in the foothills of the Black Mountains. You arrive weary from your travels, and ask around for a place to stay. People are cordial enough, and an elderly lady stops to talk to you. She tells you about the following places:

The Swan Hotel -- a wonderful hotel with soft beds, a bath for every room, and good food. Rooms are currently only three silver a night, in spite of the wonderful amenities.

The Old Boar Hotel-- For three silver a night, you share your room with someone else, food is extra, though still acceptable, and so is a bath.

The Old Dun Cow -- One silver or perhaps they might let you stay for free if you offered to help out around the place. You share a common room with about ten other people over the pub. The food isn't very good, though people seem to enjoy the booze. The lady sniffs loudly.
