The following are a series of rules
for channel behavior.
Please read and take these to heart
Recently there have been a
few issues in the channel
which is leading me to writing this.
Yes we have to monitor the channel
and those who enter it.
But we aren't going to go as far
as some other people
with regards to language and such.
I refuse to start giving people shit
based on thier swearing.
No I don't want it getting out of hand
but then again it happens and
I'm not going to crucify someone for it.
1) Excessive swearing will result in a kick
unless it is a threat made towards the clan or
one of it's members.
By excessive swearing,
I'm refering specifically to
people who enter the channel and start spamming
with swear words and such.
Swearing in channel is NOT
against our rules or policies.
We are not attempting to curb speech
just trying to keep the idiots from
going over board.
2)New faces shall be questioned
and each shall be determined on thier validity.
Should there be doubt
err on the side of caution
till confirmation is achieved.
3)When someone enters the channel
unless they show members and/or the clan
threatening behavior,or they are known
trouble makers or people who have been banned.
Follow rules one and two, and if
they should claim friendship
with one or more of our members,
and you are unaware of such please
Seek confirmation or denial
before giving this person grief.
Use your good judgment
5)When ops has been lost in channel,
immediately remove yourself from there,
move either Si'ver's or my bot (not both)
and wait until ops has been regained.
6)Under no circumstances
is anyone to leave
unmovable characters, either bot
or game characters
afk in channel for any length of time.
It is the responsibility
of the person who has invited someone
into channel to ensure they understand this.
7)Under no circumstances
is anyone to give out our channel
without permission to anyone not
allies with us.
