FUCHSIA CITY WALKTHROUGH!

Fuchsia City is a very big city with lots of sights, especially the famous Safari Zone. The Safari Zone is a big park with four different areas. You can catch lots of pokemon that can not be caught elsewhere. You can catch Ryhorn, Eggexecute, Scyther, Pinsir, Chansey, Nidoran male and female, Nidorino, Nidorina, Tauros, Paras, Parasect, Dodou, Venonat, and Venemoth. More details of the Safari Zone in the link below!

On the top left is the Pokemart. Cut your way through into the mart. There is an even more upgraded pokeball inside to buy, Ultra Ball. The Ultra Ball has a higher capture rate.

If you have already gotten the Warden's Teeth in the Safari Zone, go to the set of two houses east of the Pokecenter. Go to the left house and inside is a person. Talk to him, give him the golden teeth. In reward, he will give you the HM 4, Strength. Strength, when used outside of battle, can move boulders that are sometimes blocking the way. These boulders are found in the Seafoam Island and Victory Road. In battle, it is a normal attack and is pretty good.

Go to the house on the right of the Warden's home. Inside is another fishing guru. This time, he will give you a Good Rod. A good rod can give you better pokemon.

If you go to the very right, there is another building, just like the one where you got the Itemfinder. This time, upstairs, the aide of Professor Oak will give you the Exp. All if you have caught over 50 pokemon. The Exp All will divide the experience points in a battle into equal portions and give them to each of the pokemon that you are carrying with you. This item is useless unless you have weak pokemon with you. When going on missions and so on, deposit this item in your computer.

Keep going right. Fight the many trainers. In the small patches of grass are the pokemon Oddish and Ditto. This Oddish is in a higher level. Ditto can be fought in level 23 and 26. Ditto is a transform pokemon. The only move it has is Tranform. When Ditto uses Transform, it transforms into its opponent. For example, if you are using Bulbasaur and Ditto transforms. It will transform into Bulbasaur. It will have the exact same moves as Bulbasaur. For example, if Bulbasaur has Cut, Razor Leaf, Leech Seed, and Vine Whip, so will Ditto. I don't think Ditto is very useful, thgouh.

Go to the right, then up. Go past the trainers on motorcycles. Go up until you cut into the patch of grass. In there are some new pokemon. You can fight an Oddish, Ditto, and Gloom. Gloom is the evolved form of Oddish. You can catch it at level 30. You can evolve it to it's final form, Vileplume by using a Leaf Stone.

You can keep on going up, past the bird trainers. Bird trainers, of course, use bird pokemon. Use a pokemon with Ice beam and a Pikachu to fight them. Keep going up and right and eventually, you'll reach an area with lots of water surrounding. Keep on going up. You will fight some fishermen, who use water pokemon. Use a Bulbasaur or Pikachu to fight them. Finally, you'll come to a small house. In there is the final Fishing Guru. He will give you the Super Rod. The Super Rod can catch all kinds of Water Pokemon. Remember also to fish in the Sports Fishing Area.

Proceed going north. You'll eventually meet the Snorlax that sleeps east of Vermillion City. Wake him up with the PokeFlute and kill him. If you did not capture the one in Celadon, capture this one. Keep going up. There are a few platforms above water that you can surf to. One platform has a pokeball. It contains TM 16, Pay Day. Pay Day is a very good move. It is a normal attack. When you hit your opponent with it, you with it, you will gain extra money. The amount of money depends on your level. WHen you are around level 17, Pay Day will give you around 30 bucks. Every level you gain is 2 bucks more. Meowth is the only one who can learn Pay Day without using a TM. Keep going up until you reach Lavender Town. There is nothing special about Lavender now. I just wanted you to fight the trainers to gain more levels.

Now for Koga's Gym. Koga and his trainers all use poison and sometimes, psychic pokemon. I remember the first trainer uses a level 37 Hypno. Koga's gym has lots of invisible walls. Don't get confused when you suddenly bump into nothing. Just follow the path of trainers.

Koga uses four pokemon: Koffing level 37, Muk level 39, Koffing level 37, and Weezing level 43. Just use a Hypno or Kadabra against them. If you have Psychic Attack, use it and they should all faint in a second.

When you beat Koga, he will give you the Soul Badge and TM 5, Toxic. Toxic is like poison powder except that the damage increases every turn. I advise you to give this to one of your weak pokemon. The Rainbow Badge increases all your pokemons' speed and allows you to use Surf outside of battle. Now that you have the Rainbow Badge, you can go surf to Seafoam Islands to capture water pokemon and Articuno, a legendary bird pokemon. Surf to Cinnabar Island to catch poison and fire pokemon, and get the seventh badge. You can also surf to the Power Plant to capture some electric pokemon and Zapdos, a legendary bird pokemon.
