RULES OF THE ROAD

• In a Crossing Situation, sailboats on a Starboard Tack are Stand-On
Vessels, while Sailboats on a Port Tack are Give-Way Vessels.

• When two sailboats are on the same tack, the leeward boat is the
Stand-On vessel, while the boat to windward is the Give-Way Vessel.

• Vessels being overtaken are Stand-On, Overtaking Vessels are Give-Way.

• Powerboats always Give-Way to Sailboats.
