INVOLVEMENT IN TEEN COURT MOCK TRIAL SESSION
INVOLVEMENT AND PARTICIPATION IN FOUR (4) HOURS OF ACTUAL TEEN COURT SESSIONS.
NATIONAL TEEN COURT BAR EXAMS AND BAR ASSOCIATION
The training for and examination of National Teen Court Bar Exams and acceptance into Teen Court Bar Associations as established in 1989.
SOURCES FOR CONTINUED FUNDING
Sources, areas, and methods for continued funding of existing District Teen Court Programs, including proposals and resolutions will be discussed.
FREE USE OF COPYRIGHTED DOCUMENTS BY COURTS
Copyrighted Forms and Documents used by the referring courts and given to teenagers and their parents will be explained.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED BY DISTRICT TEEN COURT PROGRAMS
The importance of using copyrighted forms provided by the National Association will be explained. Forms of other independent programs will also be discussed. Individuals having sample forms may submit them for analysis of possible defects.
LAW-RELATED EDUCATION PROGRAM
The use of the Law-Related Education Program established in 1989 by the National Teen Courts of America And Teen Clubs of America, Inc. will be compared with other Law-Related Education Programs
JOB-RELATED EDUCATION PROGRAM
The importance of using the Job-Related Education Program established in 1989 by the National Teen Courts of America And Teen Clubs of America, Inc. to prevent and reduce youth related crime and as a leadership program.
NETWORKING, DISTRICT TEEN COURT COMPETITION AND MORE
The importance of networking within the National & International Teen Courts Association will be explained. The use of District Teen Court and Related Competition will be explained. State and National Teen Court competition rules and applications will be discussed as established in 1989. National and State Teen Court Bar Exams and membership will be explained as established in 1989.
NATIONAL TEEN COURT SCHOLARSHIPS AND SPECIAL AWARDS OF RECOGNITION
The selection of scholarships and special awards will be discussed.
F.E.R.P.A., OTHER LAWS, PROGRAM LIABILITIES
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and other state and federal laws will be discussed. Including state criminal laws, family code, and federal laws. The issue of liability will also be discussed, explained and clarified.
PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
Professional Ethics will be discussed in relation to all parties involved in Teen Court Programs.
VOLUNTEERS AND SOURCES, VOLUNTEER HANDBOOKS AND GUIDELINES
The use and sources of adult and teenage volunteers will be discussed and the advantages of using them. The handbook and guidelines for volunteers are a necessity and the advantages of using them. are discussed.
