View from Killiney Hill
Our family left South Africa for Ireland in August 2001. I am from Durban, my husband was originally from Cape Town. Our son was born in Durban in 1998.
We are currently living in Killiney, Co Dublin.
Killiney (Cill Inion Leinin in Irish) means 'Church of the Daughters of Leinin.' It is named after a monastic site originally established in the 6th century. A later church was built on this site in the 11th century. It is now a ruin, but is carefully preserved and a local tourist attraction.
The links below include family photos as well as the places that make up our world. I have also included maps and satellite photos of our area to give some point of reference.
