Can GOD change his mind? Why did he allow for the Bible to get corrupted? What wisdom is he trying to give us? Your Islam is bogus!
The answers to the three questions above and to the remark are as follows:
Can GOD change his mind?
Well, in the simplest answer, yes he can! The GOD of the Bible certainly did. He chose to change the name of the new born child from "Immanuel" to "Jesus". The foretold Prophet's name in the Bible's Old Testament was Immanuel. The name "Jesus" doesn't even exist in the Old Testament, or to say the least, no Prophet of this name was ever foretold in the OT. Yet, according to today's Bible's New Testament, GOD ordered Mary and Joseph to change the new born child's name to Jesus. Not even once was Jesus addressed as "Immanuel" in the Bible:
Jesus = Yashua = Salvation.
Immanuel = With us is God.
The two names don't mean the exact thing. Yes, they are both related, but they don't mean the same exact thing. Jesus does not mean Immanuel.
Old Testament predicted for Immanuel to come. The name Jesus doesn't even exist in the OT:
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. (From the NIV Bible, Isaiah 7:14)"
By the way, Jews claim that "The virgin" is a mistranslation (under the "Is Jesus Immanu-el?" section in the link. You can do a word search for "Is Jesus Immanu-el?" in the article). It should be "The maid". According to them, there is no prediction of a virgin woman giving birth.
New Testament didn't use the name Immanuel. The name Immanuel doesn't even exist in the NT:
"On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he had been conceived. (From the NIV Bible, Luke 2:21)"
Also, in circumcision, the Bible's Old Testament clearly allows it. Parts of the New Testament also allow it. Jesus had no problem with the Jews circumcising a boy during his ministry. Jesus himself was circumcised when he was born. Yet, Paul ordered his followers to discontinue it. There is obviously a clear contradiction between Paul and Jesus. Jesus (the GOD as Christians claim) had no problem with it being practiced during his ministry and he himself was circumcised. Paul on the other hand, had a problem with it and prohibited it. Also, the laws of the Old Testament that were replaced by new ones in the New Testament, such as lamb sacrifice in the OT was discontinued in the NT (John 1:35-37), not working on the Sabbath (Saturday) was also discontinued and Christians were allowed to work on Saturday (Mark 3:1-3), and other OT laws that were modified in the NT.
If you as a Christian don't consider Paul's Books as GOD Almighty's True Words, then you are admitting to me that the Bible is corrupt, thus you become disqualified from attacking Islam as a Christian who believes in a corrupted religion.
There are certainly other examples that I can't think of right now. But I think the above should be sufficient enough.
Important Note: Please be advised that me using the Books of Paul, Luke, John and Mark as references doesn't mean that I believe they are uncorrupted. They indeed were corrupted according to the Theologians and Historians of the NIV Bible.
Why did he (the GOD of Islam) allow for the Bible to get corrupted?
Before I answer this question from the Islamic perspective, we must first know that the Bible itself admits that it is a corrupted Book:
"`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?' (From the NIV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"
The Revised Standard Version makes even clearer: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. (From the RSV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8)"
In either translation, we clearly see that the Jews had so much corrupted the Bible with their man-made cultural laws, that they had turned the Bible into a lie! See Also Deuteronomy 31:25-29 where Moses peace be upon him predicted the corruption/tampering of the Law (Bible) after his death. The Book of Moses predicted that the Law (Bible) will get corrupted. The Book of Jeremiah which came approximately 826 years after did indeed confirm this corruption.

What wisdom is he (the GOD of Islam) trying to give us?
The wisdom is obvious. This is what happens to you when you stray away from the Path of GOD Almighty. You will end up with many Bibles with many different and contradicting sects. When the Jews and the Christians corrupted the Bible and caused for the Pure Message of Allah Almighty to be lost forever, He the Almighty sent the Noble Quran and Islam to bring back the Truth to Mankind.

Your Islam is bogus!
Well, when one uses a simple logic and common sense, he will immediately realize that Islam is not bogus. Muslims throughout the world believe in One Noble Quran. Islam's simple Message is believing in the One True Living GOD Almighty. Allah Almighty Said:
"Say: 'O People of the Book (i.e., Jews and Christians)! Come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah.' If then they turn back, say ye: 'Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will).' (The Noble Quran, 3:64)"

The Christians on the other hand believe in many Bibles with different Books and Gospels in quantity, and they disagree a great deal with each others in the translations.
You debate a Jehovah Witness for instance, and he'll prove to you (according to his logic) with many interpretations that Jesus can not be GOD. On the other hand, you debate with a Trinitarian, he'll prove to you (according to his logic) with many interpretations that Jesus is GOD.
So, I'll leave it to the reader to decide which is bogus and which is not.
