Any Kyd, one of the walking wounded (or veterans) of the Vancouver music scene. She has now decided to take on the world as a solo performer. Playing solo has enabled her to play many styles of music such as slide guitar and slower music that is heartfelt and powerful. She started her solo career by doing a tour of Toronto in November of 1997. Ani was well received at Lee's Palace, opening for the Lunachicks and Smear to a sold out crowd, she got a huge response from the music community after playing the El Mocambo and finally ended her stay in Toronto at the Camron House doing a radio show at CIUT with Stacey Case.
