Hissy Fit
Formed in December
1995, Hissy Fit aimed to quickly establish itself as an
in-the-head Punk Rock band, both live and on tape.
Their
first release was "Rude Like Me," recorded when they
were just six weeks old as a band. A year later, "What to
Wear" was released, a seven song CD/EP distributed nationally
by Turtle Records. "What to Wear" saw lots of chart
action on College Radio across the country from June up to
February of '98. Two songs from that CD were also picked for the
soundtrack for "north Short X'Treme" - an extreme
mountain-biking video. 1998 saw the release of their
CD/single, "For the Boys," and a cross-Canada tour
followed in
April '98. In 1999, Hissy Fit released, Uglier than You, a
full-length CD that soared to No. 3 in the Canadian college
charts. The band followed the release of the CD with a
widely acclaimed three-week cross Canada tour. Visit the Hissy
Fit Homepage to
learn the most up-to-date gossip on the band, they move so
fast I can't keep up.
