Help, Lord, for the godly
man ceases!
For the faithful disappear from
among the sons of men.
They speak idly everyone with
his neighbor;
With flattering lips and
a double heart they speak.
(Ps. 12:1-2)
For there is no faithfulness
in their mouth;
Their inward part is destruction;
Their throat is an open tomb;
They flatter with their tongue.
Pronounce them guilty, O God!
Let them fall by their
own counsels;
Cast them out in the multitude
of their transgressions,
For they have rebelled
against You. (Ps. 5:9-10)
May the Lord cut off all
flattering lips;
And the tongue that speaks
proud things. (Ps. 12:3)
In my distress I called
upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from
His temple,
And my cry came before Him,
even to His ears.(Ps. 18:6)
"For the oppression of the poor,
for the sighing of the needy,
Now I will arise," says the Lord;
"I will set him in the safety
for which he yearns." (Ps. 12:5)
He sent from above,
He took me;
He drew me out of
many waters.
He delivered me from my
strong enemy,
From those who hated me,
For they were too strong
for me.
They confronted me in the day
of my calamity,
But the Lord was my support.
He also brought me out into
a broad place;
He delivered me because He
delighted in me.
(Ps. 18:16-19)
For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?
It is God who arms me
with strength,
And makes my way perfect.
He makes my feet like the
feet of deer,
And sets me on my
high places.(Ps.. 18:31-33)
It is God who avenges me,
And subdues the peoples
under me;
He delivers me from
my enemies.
You also lift me up above those
who rise against me;
You have delivered me from
the violent man.
(Ps. 18:47-48)
I will love You, O Lord,
my strength.
The Lord is my rock and
my fortress
and my deliverer;
My God, my strength,
in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of
my salvation, my stronghold.
I will call upon the Lord,
who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from
my enemies. (Ps. 18:1-3)
The Lord Lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let the God of my salvation
be exalted.(Ps. 18:46)
We all have different colors on our palettes. God gave us very different and very distinct missions to do. So we should never compare ourselves to anyone else or the gifts they have, because God has a specific reason for the colors on our palette.
Some people may have many colors, some may have few. Some people may have bright colors, and some may have dark colors. We must let God choose and give us our colors and then ask Him what to do with them.
God wants us to compliment and support each other. Our palettes may not be the same, but the colors do compliment each other and can be mixed together. So God encourages us to help each other, not tear each other down.
God made your palette different than anyone elses and you can let Him mix your paints to get a great picture in your lifetime. But if you try to mix them, you may get close, but not the way He wants you to be.
So let God paint your picture with the palette He has given you and you will have a portrait in the Heaven's gallery of art someday. Isn't that where we all want to be?
