December 31, 1999 - Friday
I did my laundry today and I went to the grocery store. That was about it. Actually
I didn't go to bed until late, and then I got up, well, very late. I finished my
novel that I bought yesterday. I watched some videos that Van had sent me. They
were funny.
On the way to the grocery store I ran into a student of mine (to be honest he was
the one running). Then in the grocery store I saw the daughter of one of Hitomi's
students. She was trying to talk to me but unfortunately, I didn't understand a
word!
I stayed home all night and watched tv. I filled up the bath with water just in case
something happened, but so far, so good. My evening was quiet and thankfully uneventful.
