July 5, 2000 - Wednesday
I had a good day today. Only one of my classes cancelled! I taught four lessons,
which wasn't too bad for a Wednesday. The kids lesson went quite well too. The
boy that's a bit rambunctious was just funny today. I think we all had fun in that
lesson. Maybe we learned something too? I felt so bad, before class I went to chuck him
under the chin and instead I caught him with my fingernail. I could hear it scraping
on his skin. Yikes! It didn't break the skin or anything, thank goodness. After
that, in class whenever he didn't want to do anything he grabbed his chin and pretended
that it was sore!
I worked on the presentation that I'm giving on Sunday at our Area Meeting, and forgot
to do some required paperwork for head office. Yikes. That meant I had to forgo
going out for drinks after work. I wasn't happy when I walked home, but when I got
home there was a letter waiting for me.
I was very happy after I read it. No, I'm not telling you what it said, just know
that it was wonderful and it made me cry. I spent the rest of the evening writing
a reply to it.
