June 27, 2000 - Tuesday
We had a change in the weather today. It rained. But it was nice to have relief
from the heat.
I did some mundane things at work today like pay my rent and my phone bill. I also
mailed off a postcard to Canada and a letter to a friend in Tsuruoka.
Work was fine. I had four classes, but I had to prepare them all, and I prepared a
couple of classes for tomorrow.
The manager asked me to do a chat time next week. I think it will be fun.
I cooked supper for myself tonight, gyoza and yakisoba. I even did the dishes afterwards.
I can hardly believe it!
There was nothing on TV except Wimbledon tonight so I popped in Jane Eyre starring
Samantha Morton and Ciaran Hinds. It's pretty good.
Anyway, I want to watch it, so I'm going to end this now. Bye....
