March 26, 2000 - Sunday

I ended yesterday sometime around 5:30 am. That's the time I finally dragged myself off to bed. I slept nicely until around 10 something when the gas lady came and rang my doorbell. I hurriedly put on some pants and a shirt and ran to the door to pay her. It wasn't until after that I realized that I'd put my trousers on outside in!

I stayed awake for a little while and then realized that I was still blooming tired, so I went back to sleep for a bit. I finally woke up around 2.

I got up and dressed. Then I attempted to watch TV but there wasn't a heck of a lot on, and then suddenly it was time to get ready to go out.

I met Hitomi and Yoko and we drove to the yakitori restaurant. Unfortunately, when we got there, it was closed. Therefore, all of us had to go somewhere else. 10 of us ended up at Murasaki where we ate and talked and had a great old time.

After the food part of the evening there was of course karaoke. We were only supposed to go for an hour, but we ended up staying for two. I sang "All Out Of Love", "Living La Vida Loca"(it was a request), "I Love Rock & Roll", and "Shout". The nice thing was, I got the songs pretty well right! Usually I screw them up a bit, but "All Out Of Love" came out just about perfectly and so did "I Love Rock & Roll". I sometimes get so nervous that I can't sing them properly. Tonight, no problem. The evening was a lot of fun. I was home before midnight, but I almost wished the party was longer.

I had just popped in "Notting Hill" when I noticed that Ally McBeal was on, so I had to watch that. After that, I started the movie.

It was great. I really enjoyed it. I'm not a big fan of Julia Roberts, but I am a fan of Hugh Grant. They worked very well together and the film was a hoot. I really liked it. In fact, I almost teared up a bit. Okay, there was no "almost", I did. It was funny and romantic and touching. Great fun.

And now, I'll most likely go to bed. I have a big day tomorrow. I have to pay rent and go to City Hall, and watch the Oscars! If I can, although they're being taped for me in Canada.

Night...or should I say morning?
