May 3, 2000 - Wednesday
Today was the kitchen day. I went out to read the paper and then did a tiny bit of
shopping.
I went to a restaurant near my apartment for a late lunch. It was nice. If you are
reading this you are possibly shocked that I go out so often, but the sad fact is
that I just don't remember to eat when I'm on holiday. I don't like to take time
out to cook, so I go out.
I bought a few groceries today too, I got some chili and some nacho chips. I think
I might make chili and chips....does it sound okay?
My kitchen looks great. I'm very impressed. The only part of the house that I haven't
cleaned is the bathroom and to be honest, I probably won't. I don't think anyone
will be taking a bath at my party, do you? I hope it won't get that wild. (Note
to my non-Japan savvy readers....I have a separate bathroom and toilet room. The toilet
room is
clean.
I'm a bit tired tonight, I feel like I've been getting a cold or something. I think
it might be a reaction to all of the dust that I've been unsettling or something.
And today I was so stiff and sore that I don't know what I've done to myself. I
could barely walk. Cleaning is hazardous to my health? I've been saying that for years,
but no-one ever believes me!
Tomorrow I need to go out and grab a few things. I hope the grocery store is open
or I'll be running to the convenience store.
I think I'll have an early night tonight, I deserve it!
