Yesterday, Yukie and I had made plans to go to Mikawa to see some flowers. We were
going to go in the early afternoon, so I actually set my alarm and was up before
it went off . Isn't that amazing, boys and girls?
She called me before 1 and she met me with a friend of hers. We drove out to Mikawa.
I think the flowers that we saw were rape blossoms, maybe canola ? I'm not sure.
I'm not sure about the names. The three of us wandered around and looked at some
of the things at the park, then headed back into Tsuruoka.
We decided to go to Jacasse for lunch. It was great. We had tuna-spinach carbonara,
basil pizza and Caesar salad. It was pretty good. It was just nice to go out for
lunch. I told them that it was a treat for me, because I don't get invited out very
often.
Then, they drove me home. At home, I'm almost ashamed to say this, but I went to
bed. I slept for about 3 hours. I got up around 6 and did a bit of cleaning up
the stuff from last night. I can't actually remember what I did between 6 and 9
but I think I watched TV and played computer games. I also answered a bit of e-mail.
After 9:00 pm when I realized that there wasn't going to be a movie on, I popped in
City of Angels which a student had loaned me. It was okay, but I think I almost preferred
the original German version. I did like Dennis Franz as the ex- angel though.
Anyway, that's it for tonight. Tomorrow I'm back to work...I hope it goes okay.
