October 30, 2000 - Monday
Today was a fairly quiet and relaxed day. Gabrielle and I slept quite late, finally
getting up around 10 ish. We had breakfast, and it was nice and relaxed. We ate
croissants and chatted.
Around 11:30 we walked up to the train station and as we arrived really early there
we had some coffee. When it was time for her to leave we hugged each other and she
went through the gate.
I walked slowly to the video store and I rented 3 videos. I'm watching one now...The
Waterboy. Yes, it's Adam Sandler and yes it's stupid, but it is funny.
After the video store I came home and just relaxed. Later in the day I went out for
groceries and then made some supper.
It's been a quiet day. I'm glad as I wanted to rest my voice and I have. It sounded
a little better this morning, but I talked a lot with Gabrielle. Maybe too much?
It was fun though.
I did a ton of laundry today too. I had so much to do. When I was away, I wasn't
able to do any for the last week in Tomakomai. I did so much, I couldn't believe
it!
And that's it. A very mellow but productive day.
