September 14, 2000 - Thursday
I had a virtually busy day. I taught five lessons today. All my students showed
up today. Hurray.
It was pouring on the way to work...I got a tad wet. I bought some tapes on my way
so I could make some recordings for work. I also bought my breakfast at the Authent
Hotel bakery.
I had a lot of classes today so I only did a little prep work for Saturday's classes.
I think they are ready though.
After work I was invited out for drinks. I went with some students and one of my
co-workers. It was fun. There were some Australians at the next table and they were
talking about old sci-fi shows so I was eavesdropping on them. I was also trying
to keep one ear open for the conversation at my table.
It was fun. We talked a bit and left just before 12. Three of us took a taxi, and
they dropped me off. I got home just in time for my phone call. That was nice.
I watched Ally McBeal, the first two episodes I think, and then watched Relic Hunter
on video from tonight's TV. I'll be going to bed reasonably soon. I have a busy
day planned for tomorrow with lots of sleeping involved!
