April 1, 2001 - Sunday
An interesting day today. I was rudely awakened up at 11:30 or so when someone rang
my doorbell. By the time I got to the door there was no-one there. It was most
annoying as I was in an interesting dream and couldn't go back to it.
I attempted to go back to bed, but I couldn't sleep. Sigh.
I got up and vegged for a bit. Then I went out. I had a parcel waiting for me at
the post office...some books. I walked there and got my parcel. Then I went to
a Hundred-yen store and bought a few things. After that, I had breakfast/lunch at
Mcdonald's. It was okay, but not great.
I walked home and stopped at the electronics store to buy light bulbs. I got a couple
and came home. I tried to put them in and as I did, another one burned out! Now
I have to buy more! I guess I should have just bought four to begin with!
Then I did laundry. Oh what fun! Still, it's done and I don't have to worry about
it too much. I watched an old Charles Chaplin movie Limelight, which was quite interesting.
I also did some silly things like changing icons on my computer.
And that's about it. Nothing too exciting. I had a quiet day. Nice for a change.
Too bad about the wake up though.
