July 15, 2001 - Sunday
What a day. I was darn busy today. I got up late, it was dark outside so I didn't
didn't wake up for a while. Of course, I didn't go to bed until 5:00 am either,
which might have had something to do with it.
When I got up I ate two onigiri that I bought last night and then started to work.
I finally emptied my suitcases out. Not just from my trip to Canada in May, but
my New Years holiday, if you can believe that! My bedroom looks pretty darn good.
I even selected a few clothes that I don't want anymore and put them in a bag. I hope to
find a new home for them.
I did massive amounts of laundry too. In fact, I don't know where I'm going to put
all of my clothes when they dry. I need drawers! Or shelves...or something.
I also did a bit more work in the living room, including washing my dishes and cleaning
the nasty stuff out of my fridge. I cleaned off my kotatsu, and even put the quilt
away today. I left the underpadding down as a rug of sorts. It still needs vacuuming but it's a bit late to do that. My neighbours might complain.
I never left the apartment. At least not yet. I'm thinking I might make a trip out
soon as I'm a bit hungry and would like to get some food for myself. However. It
is quite late.
I think it rained all day. It was loud when I was working in my room and I even had
to close the window a bit. My house is starting to look better. That's good. I'll
be able to open the window at night a bit more. I couldn't before because my apartment looked a bit of a heap. It still does in a way though!
I did have a good day and I got a lot done. I'm really glad about that.
Anyway, that's it for today. I watched Survivor tonight. Sean finally got kicked
off the island. I feel a bit bad now because I like everyone else left on the island.
Except for Rudy, but he is a character.
That's it. Gotta go!
