October 2, 2001 - Tuesday
Quite a busy day today actually. I was scheduled for 6 lessons plus a telephone meeting.
I had one class cancel, but apart from that everyone showed up.
After work I asked David out for soba. We went to the shop at the top of Hanozono.
I had Nameko soba, and David had Tempura Soba. We ate and chatted for a while.
A man in the shop tried to take my umbrella with him when he left. I had to chase
him down and talk to him with my bad Japanese!
After we walked back to our apartments I got my stuff back from David, some books
and some cds, and then I came in my little abode and did some packing. I packed
up a lot of kitchen stuff. I may have to find more boxes and stuff for it.
I watched Due South and once again marvelled at how darn cute Paul Gross is and how
sweet the show is. I just really like it. It may be the last time that I get to
see it too.
Now I'm watching Ally McBeal, and getting ready to post this.
Not much doing really....except I got an email from Roger Ebert. Yep! I thought
I noticed a difference in versions of Bridget Jones's Diary and wrote him about it.
He was nice enough to reply.
Anyway, that's it for me for today. Night!
