September 28, 2001 - Friday
I must still have a touch of jet lag because I woke up before my alarm went off this
morning and I couldn't go back to sleep. So, I actually got up before 9:00am today.
You may need to rub your eyes and read that again. Yes, I said before 9:00 am.
I got up and showered, and did all that pre-work stuff. I even left for work early
as I was expecting to have a busy day. I actually did, but my first class didn't
happen. The student faxed halfway through the time slot and said she couldn't come.
Anyway, before class I did a lot of prep work. Things like photocopying and sorting
cards.
All my other classes happened and went quite well I think. Attendance was so-so,
but that's to be expected I think.
After work something really weird happened. I vacuumed my classroom. Yes, really.
Then I vacuumed the lobby. I don't know what was wrong with me!
Oh we got some information about the new teacher today. She's from Scotland, and
she went to a university near the place where I used to live. Interesting that!
She sounds very interesting too. I'm looking forward to meeting her.
I'm still a bit tired from all of the travelling so I think I'll end this now and
get some sleep. Take care...talk to you tomorrow.
