August 26, 2002 - Monday
Hot and sunny, a totally gorgeous day.
I had a great day.
This morning I went to the apartment and did my laundry quite quickly. Then I left
and went to Mikawa Mall to meet Lori and Jonathan, the new teacher in Sakata. We
met up just before 1 and had a fun day together.
First we went for lunch, then we did some shopping and then had coffee and then we
shopped more and then we rested for a bit. Fumihiko met us just after 5 and then
we had supper. After supper we chatted a bit more and then we went to see Austin
Power's Goldmember. I can't remember when I've laughed so damn much in ages! It was dumb,
but extremely funny. I hadn't heard much about the beginning so I just thought it
was a hoot.
After the movie we drove Jonathan and Lori back to Sakata and then we drove to Tsuruoka.
In Tsuruoka we went to Mr. Donuts and had tea and just spent some time together.
It was really nice.
We then came home and I'm doing the computer thing, while I wait for ER. A really
nice day. And one that I didn't spend too much money at either!
