October 14, 2002 - Monday
A nice clear and sunny day today.
We're back from Niigata. It was an interesting trip. It wasn't great but there were
some surprises!
The first one was that I ran into an old co-worker at the hotel that we were staying
in. That was a big surprise as I hadn't seen him in years.
I did lots of shopping, especially magazines and a couple of cds. We bought a coffee
press and some decaffeinated coffee at Starbucks. I also had some of the coffee there,
but it wasn't great. No cream and no sugar.
We also went to see the movie Queen of the Damned. It was loud. It was one of the
loudest movies that I've ever experienced. It was interesting, although they did
change some things from the books.
Today was okay. We arrived back from Niigata tonight and we went to Edoichi for dinner.
I did very well and didn't eat anything that I wasn't allowed to! Hurray.
Anyway,I know that this is very scattered, for which I'm sorry, but that's all you
get tonight.
