September 9, 2002 - Monday
Warm and a little muggy today.
I didn't sleep that well last night, but I got up when Fumihiko did and went to the
apartment. I did laundry, watched Roswell...Max died!!!!...and one of my new movies
from yesterday. It was terrible! I left and went window shopping in Jusco before
going to the Mall. On the way to Jusco I stopped into a Temple, just to pay my tribute
to Mum and Dad.
The mall wasn't as crowded as it was yesterday and I grabbed a quick bite and then
went shopping. I didn't buy very much, but did look at some globes. Fumihiko told
me that he'd like a globe as his anniversary present. They had them, but they were
very expensive, so I didn't buy them. We talked it over and decided to look in other shops
first.
Fumihiko joined me a bit after five and we had coffee, then went for supper. We had
Yakiniku which was really good. I enjoyed very much.
Then, we went to see the movie Insomnia with both Al Pacino and Robin Williams, two
actors that I don't like very much. However, there wasn't any overacting in this
movie, so I liked it very much. Hillary Swank was in it too, and I really enjoyed
what she did with her role. It was a very interesting story, filmed in Squamish BC. Yay
Canada!
We came back from the mall via the apartment to take showers. The water heater still
hasn't been fixed yet. Now, I'm waiting to see if ER will be on tonight or not.
And that's my day. Nothing too exciting, but a nice way to pass the day. Ta ra!
