Warm, sunny, but with a bit of rain for variety.
I had a good day today. After work I was invited to go out with two of my students
to a new izakaya. I was so happy. It was the first time I've been invited out since
I came back to Tsuruoka. We had lots of food, including Caesar Salad, Tofu, Imoni
and sushi. Yum, yum, yum.
After that, Fumihiko picked me up and we went to M's Dining. He hadn't eaten tonight,
so he ate and drank and I watched him. I didn't eat anything, because I ate a lot
at the izakaya.
Other things today....I was a little sick this morning. I had bad stomach pains and
spent a lot of time in the....well, never mind. I ate some ramen for breakfast and
then went to work. Work was fine, but I wasn't very busy. Made a nice change.
And that's about it.
I didn't update last night as my husband needed some TLC and to be honest, so did
I. We had a little fight but made up later. I just didn't want to annoy him so I
stayed off the computer. He did do something lovely for me though, he wrapped up
the clothes that I bought for Van and Katie. It took him ages, but he did a super job.
So, now you are up to date on my life. On Sunday we're off to Yamagata for our celebration.
