Clear and sunny, a bit cold.
A good day, if a bit long. I was busy at work. Seven lessons and they were all one person ones. Exhausting. It really is. Think about it. Teaching conversation....I have to do at least half of the conversing when there's only one student. Sigh.
After work Fumihiko picked me up. We were supposed to go to the izakaya in the station, but there was nowhere to park. He had planned to park at Sunkus, but there weren't any places for that anyway! So we drove around, trying to find a good place to go, with parking, but there weren't any. We even drove up to Showa street, but with a car, everything is difficult. Our solution? Dan. The place we've been going to a lot lately.
It wasn't very crowded so we got right in. It was nice. We had a nice meal. We tried a new kind of salad. The leaf looked like it was a weed, but it tasted very nice. We had some yakiniku, but it came with the sauce already on it, and it was a bit high carb. I also had some tofu. Delicious.
We came home and now we're on our respective computers, resting after the meal! I think tomorrow we have an adventure planned! We're off to Niigata for a quick shopping trip.
