Although it's a national holiday in Canada, it isn't one here in Japan, so I still had to work. Poor me!
We had to get up early this morning as Fumihiko had to start early. It was tough, but I did it! At the apartment I had planned to do some pilates or other exercise, but.... It was raining really hard so I couldn't go for a walk, and I was too tired for pilates. I hope tomorrow I will. I will!
I cooked breakfast and got ready for work.I had to leave in the rain, which was nasty, but I think it got better as the day went on. At night it wasn't raining at all.
I was sort of busy at work. I had the right number of classes and they went quite well today. I didn't get out of work on time though because I sold some books to one of my students and I had to make her a receipt. Then when I finished that, I was in the middle of changing and the phone rang. I answered it and it was another section of our company wanting my co-worker. They'll call back tomorrow I think!
I met Fumihiko at my apartment and then we came home. He'd made us a lovely nabe, so we ate and watched the news. The news was boring, but it always is in Japan!
I did read something sort of interesting in the newspaper today, Prince Edward and his wife just had a baby girl. She's a preemie, so may need special care for a while. Hope everything goes well there. Yep, I am a Royal watcher... Can't help it!
Anyway, not much is happening here. I've had a good day, and I hope tomorrow will be good too. Wish me luck!
