Cloudy, but no rain, bit chilly.
Had an okay day today! Woke up early because my husband decided to get up early and take the first of two baths this morning. Japanese people really love their bathing rituals. Breakfast was so-so, buffet style so I could pick and choose for myself what I wanted to eat.
We drove around Sado Island today, visited a museum which was quite interesting, went to a temple that had a 5 storey pagoda, also very beautiful and then drove back to the port city. We got back a bit early so Fumihiko had the bright idea to change our ferry tickets from the slow and cheap boat to the fast but expensive one. We managed to do that, and then got back quite a lot earlier than we had expected to. So, we went shopping! We went to Starbucks for decaff coffee first, then to Kinokuniya books. I mostly picked up some magazines which I am going to enjoy a lot. Yay me!
The train ride home was fine, very quiet. I read, Fumihiko napped. Good for him. We went for dinner to M's Dining and checked out their new menu. I can still eat quite a lot there so not to worry! That's a relief though.
Came home and I've basically been reading and answering email ever since. I think I'm going to stop soon as I have a headache and I have to get up early tomorrow. Yay! Not.
A quick update....Sado was lovely. We had 3 days of perfect weather and one day, today of cloudy-chilly weather. We had a lot of fun, saw many beautiful places, got terribly lost one night and really enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend it.
