Rainy in the morning, hot and muggy later on.
Today was a treat. I had a nice quiet, putzy day. I woke up after Fumihiko left, checked the weather and then went back to sleep. After a long time, I got up again and did laundry.
I also did such lovely things during the day as clean the toilet, sweep the floor and air out the tatami room and our bedroom.
In the evening, Fumihiko came home and then we went out for dinner to La Chance. It was pretty good. There was a nice salmon and eggplant in curry dish. I liked that one a lot. Sadly, their lunch buffet is only pasta, or I could go there tomorrow.
Although Fumihiko offered to take me to karaoke, I knew he was tired, so i suggested going home and watching a dvd. We watched Desperado, which was fun to see again after all those years. Fumihiko hadn't seen it before. While I watched I worked on my shawl some more. I think (hope) I'm down to 9 more rows! I'm going to have to measure it again of course.It's so relaxing just sitting and crocheting. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy it. I really love craft work, you know?
And that was my day. Now I'll do some web surfing and blog reading before I go to bed. Gotta get to it! Night night.
