Cold but clear. Nice winter day.
My first day back at work. It was a bit slow as I didn't have any children's classes this week and no private students booked for today either. So, my first class was at 7:00pm. Yikes! What did I do with myself? I pulled down some of the decorations in the school, did a bit of tidying up, read 3 newspapers and actually did plan the classes that I taught today.
After work I called my hubby and asked him to pick me up. He did and he took me to Cocos for dinner. It was quite nice and he wasn't feeling well, so we ate fairly early and came home after buying gas for the car.
When we came down we took down most of the Christmas decorations. I just noticed that I didn't take down my wreath yet. It's so pretty and it isn't totally Christmasy...can I leave it up for a while? Anyway, we also took down the tree. It was sad, but okay. I had bought a big box for the tree decorations and they all fit in it, just. Next time I have time (and it's daytime) I'll vacuum up the mess in the tatami room. The tree shed a bit during the process. If I make up all of my decorations this year, I might need a bigger box next time!
Oh, hey, I walked to work today. It was fine. I wore my new boots and they were great. It was a bit slippery, but I did well. It took me about 25 minutes to get there, but I made it in time. I could only find my half finger gloves before I left home so I went to Jusco on my lunch hour and bought 3 pairs of gloves! I got one dressy pair, one funky pair and one really warm pair. I thought that was a good idea. I got three pairs at 500 yen each, so not bad at all.
And that was my day. It was quite good. I'll chat to you tomorrow. Night night!
