Spec list:

  • Avon Sea Rider SR4M Inflatable Rescue Boat with GRP Hull

  • DF50 Suzuki Marine Engine

  • 4 stroke - 12 valve DOHC

  • 5,900rpm - 6,500rpm

  • 50BHP

  • Water Cooled

  • 3 Cylinders

  • Multi Point Sequential Fuel Injection

  • Electric Starting System

  • 3 Blade aluminum Propeller

The Boat Patrols main duties are that it is to make its way up and down the sea front keeping any jet skiers or racing yachts away from the beach whilst keeping an eye out for swimmers and inflatable's that may be drifting. Another task of the Boat Patrol is that after a large ship has passed a heavy wash may occur. The boat should follow the wash along the shore line keeping at a safe distance watching for bathers and others who may unexpectedly find themselves in difficulty.
