Group Bio:
Soft Spoken began in late November of 2000. The band
then, was joined by guitarist and dear friend of the
band, Stephen Baker. But due to work and school, he
was unable to continue with Soft Spoken and departed
in early January. Soft Spoken began experimenting with some shit and had about 4 songs(all instrumental) by around mid february. They had styles ranging from
hard-core rock to more melodic alternative. The band have a few un-completed songs, and are currently working hard to become better musicians.
Since the guys were without a vocalist, they decided
to post an ad at Skip's Music, and quickly had many
replies. But none were really what they were looking
for. Then along came Brandon May. Brandon is an
awesome guy and seemed to be a perfect fit. He came
out to a practice, suggested the name for the band,
and they were fortunate enough to slowly get to know
him. But Brandon just did not quite fit their music as
well as they had hoped. About a week later, Soft
Spoken proudly reported that Brandon had became their
new manager. They feel very fortunate to have him as
their manager and are confident of great things to
come in the near furture. The rolled by the idea of adding a guitarist to the squad, and having Jack as a singer, so they tried out a dj and Guitarist. They were very experienced and it just didn't work out. After a temperary seperation, they thought about Skylar's brother, who'd been learning the guitar and getting lessons, so they gave him a shot, and he surprised the hell out of them. Soon after Blake joined the band, things started to go good. They finally got their first song done called "Over Nothing" and soon after began work on an already finished instrumental called "Never Again." As of right now they are working on perfecting their two songs and hopefully will be getting more songs done soon...
